BSOD codes 1a & 7f. Blue screens and randomly crashes under load.

Also I updated the nForce chipset as recommended, during the driver installation process the pc froze again. I have re-booted and the new chipset drivers were installed. Also I found the PC-Doctor product and removed that along with HP Advisor and HP Support Agent, which I assume are the two you guys were referring to. Should I try and mimic his usage again?

As you have done all the recommended changes, use the computer as normal. Observe if the problems comes back or not.

If those comes back, and you get any more BSODs, post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

After a reasonable time of usage, inspect the system temps using Speccy. Aslo post a screenshot of the summery tab of it for us, after an usage of a reasonable time.

well that was short lived. After my last post I began normal usage and the pc froze within 10minutes no bsod just a hard lock. I dont understand how there can still be anything wrong if everything is checking out with you guys. would a system restore do any good?

here are a few screens of temps while running LoL, Planet earth HD 1080p, 1 extra browser open, paint open, windows explorer open etc. the temp increases under load and reduces if i'm just here posting, but once I open LoL up again or the video the fans get louder and the temp starts rising.

Temps of the CPU is gradually increasing.

You need some additional cooling, and make it sure that the thermal paste is applied properly while seating the CPU.

here is a recent dump of a 1E BSOD and then directly after a 3B that hardlocked on the screen, no dump was made. I however did get a chance to snap a photo of it

So I have removed the CPU and re-coated it with Arctic Silver 5. Apparently who ever applied the first batch 2 years ago did not do a very good job. It was almost as if there was none ever put on. Very little came off during the cleaning of the surface and even the heatsink. I re-tinted the heatsink and put a dab of arctic in the middle of the CPU. I'm now 30 mins into testing with LoL running full blast along with HD youtubes and animes playing all at once. I have yet to freeze and no BSOD in sight (*knocks on wood*). The temps you ask? Well i've attached a screen shot that was taken at the same time as this post. Everything is minimized and the temp has reduced to what you see now. During load when I would alt+tab out of LoL I'd take a quick peek @Speccy and I noticed i'm sitting at a comfortable 44c.

I'm hoping this was the fix I was looking for. I thank you Arc and Britton30 for your input it was greatly valued. I will be posting once again to confirm this situation has been solved. I am hoping for a full 24hr run with a decent load being put upon the system. If anything, it will help the break in process of the new thermal compound.

Sounds promising. If you want to to a CPU stress test, try this on the STANDARD setting, if you pass that I think your CPU is fine if your temps don't go crazy, monitor them during IBT.
