BSOD Crashes on HP Tablet.....Kinda lost here.

I am new to this site and looking for any help I can find, I've been pulling my hair out for the last month!!!! Here's the rundown...

This tablet PC has been crashing for the last few months, however I haven't been present during any of the incidents. The user is stating that it's been crashing about 1 to 2 times daily lately, and I'm sure they're starting to get frustrated with it. I will lay down the specs of the PC first then I will post all the crash files in a zip, I believe they're all related to the same problem but If there's something I'm missing I'd just like to provide all the info I can.

These crashes are virtually identical. Every single on of them is a driver power state. That is a certain driver is not responding within the correct time.

Atapi.sys is mentioned but I have a feeling it is your Symantec product causing all of these. I would do the following.

First remove Symantec completely and replace with MSE for testing at least.


Then run a system file check to verify and repair your atapi.sys. Atapi.sys can also be a virus so make sure you run MSE to check it.

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Let us know the results from the report at the end.
