Drivers
The pre-2009 version of ASACPI.SYS is notorious for causing BSOD's. From the below link, click on Utilities and download and install the 'ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit'.

Hardware
Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.

Run a chkdsk on the system partition to check for bad sectors or system errors.

hello JaidynM,

thanks for your reply. i downloaded the driver you said and when i click the .exe to instal the driver there is a little cmd box for like 3 seconds then it dissapears. i searched for asacpi.sys and windows found 3 files, 2 of 14-5-2009 and 1 of 29-3-2005. can i conclude from this it didnt work?

chkdsk found a few warnings, which had to do with read-only areas

memtest ill do tonight when im going to sleep

EDIT: all the 3 asacpi files lead to c:/windows/system32/driverstore/filerepository

I believe it has worked, the 2005 version was the old driver and the 2009 version was the new one. To be sure though can you please re-download the file and run it as administrator?

Exactly what warnings did the chkdsk give you? Did it manage to fix them?

Next time you crash please upload the new dump file.

the error chkdsk gives is: "errors. can not proceed with CHKDSK in read-only mode."

a little up it says "the characteristic records (160, $I30) from the filerecord segment 152465 is damaged"

doesnt say anything about repairing.

it also did a chkdsk while starting up, said something about a file being to large to be repaired (even while i have 47GB free on the drive)

btw: did you have any problems with the language being dutch and all?

Sorry I didn't mention it earlier, complete Option 2 (running it in cmd) rather than Option 1.

And I did have problems at first but it wasn't too difficult afterwards. ;)

hey,

sorry for the late response. after a few days of not using my computer i started it up again and wanted to play some BF3, after about 5 minutes a bluescreen. with the message dxgmms.sys

i tested memory, gave no errors. heat seems fine to me too (about 65 degrees celcius on the GPU and about 50 on the CPU)

cambria

EDIT: oops, almost forgot the new dump file

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 20:04:13 2009
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset, SSD etc.
