Hello, buzztiger. Please fill out your system specs in as much detail as possible.

Please fill out your System Specs

   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

All of your dump files I looked at were basically the same.

Code:
CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION (f4)
A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been
terminated.
Several processes and threads are necessary for the operation of the
system; when they are terminated (for any reason), the system can no
longer function.

An 0XF4 error code and an I/O error is a hard drive problem usually. Once I get your system specs, I can better tell you how to proceed. It appears you have a 1Tb Western Digital Hard drive. If that is the case please Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for DOS WD Support / Downloads / SATA & SAS / WD Black or Seatools for DOS http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/313457-seatools-dos-windows-how-use.html#Part3

Thanks for helping me read the minidump file. Yes, u are right that I have a Western digital 1 TB blue hard drive. The western digital hard drive is just 6 months old. Today I had another msg pop up b4 BSOD. It said something like systemdisk write error or something like that. It was really fast so I could not finish reading the error msg b4 my PC restarts.

I tried the WD diagnostics test. I used the windows version ( can't get the DOS version to work). It passed the quick test. Will try the full test again. It kind of amazes me how it can pass the test. Weird.

I have another question. What does SMART hard disk test do ? For me it shows the health status as ok. What is the data that i should look for in the SMART test that can indicate a failing hard drive ?

I have run the western digital drive diagnostics extended test. The test was done in DOS mode. No errors were found on the hard drive. Does this mean the hard drive is fine or has the test missed something out ? Now I am lost as to why I keep getting the BSOD. Right now the BSOD happens randomly not only when i download. I have ran the memtest86+. It ran for close to 2hrs and still does not complete. I got impatient and stopped at test 9. At the point i stopped the test, it was showing passed 43% in the test.

I have no idea why it passed. You have even had warnings from Windows that it was having problems. You may want to try running Check Disk http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html.

If you want to run memtest86+, you cant be impatient. You have to run it for a minimum of 8 Passes. If you have 16 GB of Ram, it will take around 20 hours to run it. These are the instructions on how to run it.

Please Run Memtest86+
picture.php

   Information
Please download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zip

Extract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask

Thx for the info but I already ran it for close to 2hrs and it was going on and on. 20hrs to run memtest86+ ??? OMG. Is my hard drive playing some kind of joke on me ? or could some other hardware in my PC be the cause ?

Try running Seatools Long and Short Test on your Hard Drive along with check disk http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/313457-seatools-dos-windows-how-use.html#Part3

If you run Memtest86+ for less than 8 Passes, you are wasting your time. It requires a minimum of 8 passes to completely check the ram, and with 16 GB of ram it will take 20 hours. I know what a pain it can be, been there, done that. I run it fairly often.

It passed both the short and long test in seatools. Right after the test my PC slowed down to a crawl and I couldn't even open any programs. So does that mean i can rule out hard drive being the cause of the problem ?

Not necessarily. No test is 100% accurate. The dump file lists a hard drive code and points to an I/O error. What information we have right now points to the hard drive. Please open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

After that, please upload the BSOD posting instructions again. http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

I have ran the sfc Scannow in windows. It gave me this msg "Windows resource protection did not find any integrity viloations". So that sounds like its alright. 5mins later BSOD again. In a desperate attempt i even changed the sata cable. It still does not help. And thank you for all ur advice and help essenbe.

Try connecting the hard drive to a different port and see what happens. You will probably have to change it in the boot order in BIOS.

The dump analysis blames the card too.

Code:

Not to bore you with all the details but preceding the card this is what you see

Those are NTFS errors. That is the windows file system. Logically, if the hard drive disappeared, the GPU drivers are on the hard drive so the card would have had no drivers.
