Before anyone reads this any further I need to first and foremost say, I am very limited computer intelligent. I game, browse the internet, and occasionally make use of my laptop for studying. Bought my computer in Jan 2012, had some major issues with it a couple of months later (TOSHIBA after 3 days finally agreed with me it needed to be sent in) and they sent me back a nice working unit again (pretty sad after only 3 months). Well in November of 2013 after an update to some GPU drivers I started getting some screwy BSOD error. Same one, every time... and increasingly infuriating each time. System reinstall (oh god redownloading everything was awful) drivers uninstall reinstall and have sat reading other people's BSOD's that were similar or exactly the same.

I've had some success playing some games for a few hours thinking that a fix I tried worked, but only to have it fail again later. Not overclocking (in fact I'm under clocking as it was one of the potential fixes I read)

I refuse to believe my GPU is fried after I sat and played ESO for hours perfectly no screen tearing or any abnormal screen glitches after some tweaking, but eventually... it comes back each time. Seems odd to have it BSOD after working fine after a few days... and then going back to crap. I've tried running furmark and in all cases it runs slowly for a minute or two and BSOD comes up.

For anyone who replies to this xD please be patient and dumb down your instructions. I am a very dense girl who just wants to play her beloved video games and frustrated!

Thanks in advance!
(Hopefully I've filled everything out correctly and the attachment works!)

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Followed instructions (after much restarting I finally got to the last steps!)
I had speccy open with Furmark while doing a test, after about a minute or so it goes from 50C to 70C followed by a BSOD error (no time to take screenshot with that). Same exact BSOD error as before.

During furmark, 70 degrees is not any dangerous temperature. But if it BSODs during furmark, it may be inferred that the GPU is not being able to take a load.

I would suggest you to replace the GPU.

The model number says it is a laptop. Afford a cooling pad. If the cooling pad is also not able to control the heat, re-apply thermal paste.

Laptops are never good gaming platforms, due to their heat inefficiency mostly.

But, changing the GPU will be needed. Otherwise the BSODs will continue to occur.
