Today I got a new monitor, an LG 24MP56HQ-P. I plugged it in and made it my primary monitor (moving my original monitor, an LG Flatron W2361VG to the side as a secondary), and because I do not have a CD drive working (not enough SATA Power Cables to power it up, used my last one for my second HDD), I could not install the drivers for the monitor using the CD, instead I downloaded and installed, then restarted the PC; and since I have done this my screen has gone black twice with red horizontal lines (Only on the new monitor, the second would just go black) the first time, while the second time it happened I got BSOD. Now fast forward an hour or two, I'm just uploading music to my USB, and I get another BSOD. I have no clue what could be causing this. I have attached the requested files for posting in this subtopic.

Your ATI driver has been flagged.

Download the 13.9 driver from here then use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

   Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

Uninstall the following programs.

Code:
[FONT=Courier New]C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Cheat Engine 6.3
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer\\Razer Game Booster
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\DAEMON Tools Lite[/FONT]
1. Uninstall Daemon Tools.
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
3. Double click the executable to open it
4. Click the button shown below

If the button it is grayed out, as shown in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can just close the window.

I actually never use Daemon Tools Lite, so uninstalling it should be enough, right? I followed your steps, hopefully I can avoid the BSOD now. But having not used DTL in forever I don't see a reason to re-install it, haha. Much appreciated, though!

You need to complete the steps for the SPTD uninstaller, DaemonTools uses SCSI Pass-Through Direct which is the cause of the BSODs. Run it even if it's to ensure there's no trace of SPTD left on your system.

I ran it and the button was grayed out. Much appreciated, again. :) Is there any way to avoid this in the future?

BSODs are random and unexpected, but you've increased your chances of it not happening again by removing all traces of SPTD.
