Solved BSOD (error 116) after reinstalling windows 7 drivers

Hi,

I recently reinstalled windows 7 to my laptop (Dell N4110) after realizing that windows 10 was not compatible with my machine. Now, I'm having problems reinstalling my drivers for my graphics card. The laptop has 2 graphics cards. Every time after I installed the driver for AMD HD 6630m, it reboots into the "windows is starting" screen and goes into the BSOD with the error code 116 and cause by the atikmpag.sys driver. I really need help as I have been at this for a few days trying to fix it.

Methods I have tried:
- manually installing the driver through Device manager
- full clean with Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstalling
-direct download from the AMD website on their latest installer
-download drivers from Dell Drivers page

I have also tried this solution thinking it would help but still no luck. I'm not sure if I did it correctly.

The problem is caused by your graphics driver. Run Display Driver Uninstaller(DDU)
Make sure you tick the Uninstall C:/AMD and C:/NIVIDA folders while you are in DDU when you are done running DDU install your graphics driver again and you should be good to go! This is the guide for DDU: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/367109-display-driver-uninstaller-how-use.html

Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r.
Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

Do the exact same steps for chkdsk /r but instead of typing in sfc /scannow type chkdsk /r.

Should I install the driver from the AMD site or the Dell drivers website?

AMD's site. If it dosen't have any drivers there for your computer then go to Dells.

Sorry for the questions, I'm making sure I'm doing this right >.< should i go through the AMD catalyst driver? Or search for the specific driver I need?

Do not install Catalyst. Remove Catalyst and install the driver alone.

So I updated it manually through device manager and restarted but it still gave me the BSOD. Should I continue to update it with windows update?

First of all, don't do it from device manager. The driver will come with an installer, use that. Don't use Windows Update to update your drivers. WU has very bad drivers.

So when i downloaded the driver from Dell, it extracts it into my system and automatically starts up the AMD client. I'm not sure as to how to install the driver without installing the AMD client in the process. I've attached an image on the file I see on my computer. I'm going to run DDU again.

Okay, so i selected a custom installation using the client. Which of these should I not install?

Uncheck Catalyst control center.
