This started happening maybe a week ago? I uninstalled a lot of programs that I installed like AVG, Firefox, Abode Flash, and the list goes on but nothing seems to fix it... I have no clue what it is! The only thing I've noticed is that when I'm play a game called Heroes of Newerth and looking at videos/on Firefox it, most of the time, doesn't BSOD or do anything. Sometimes it does though.

I'm sick of this issue. I'm really close to reformatting (I'm not even sure that would fix the problem) and just starting fresh, but I decided to see if anyone could help out.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance!

Have an awesome day! =D

Hello UniqueDeath.

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.
ATI_zps0bc28aaa.jpg

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Then follow the other steps of http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Let us know the results.

Writing this from my iPhone.

I've tried everything. Updating drivers, doing EVERYTHING in that troubleshooting thread you gave the link to, nothing has worked. The only thing I have noticed is that whenever I am on a browser (any) it BSOD's, but SOMETIMES I'll be on a browser with a game in the background and it has a lucky chance that it won't BSOD. I have no idea what to do. What is my last resort? Re-formatting?

Any other suggestions? And please make sure that I've taken the necessary steps in the troubleshooting thread you have me. I am pretty sure I've done it all.

Thanks for the help!

Hey Arc, thank you so much for the reply! Did as you asked and I found no problems watching the YouTube video in safe mode after I did that. I'm going to reboot manually and try watching things in a normal startup.

Here are my SF Diagnostics.

By the way, am I doing everything right in terms of troubleshooting and letting you know what's wrong, etc? Please let me know if you need more info or anything!

Thanks again! Have a good one.

EDIT:

Nothing different with the hardware acceleration turned off. Just BSOD'ed.

Rolling back the display driver worked, but now I can't play any videos using any Media players. Opens them for a second and then immediately closes them. I can still watch videos online, but that's it.

Ran Speccy and here are the results.

Ran the stress test and it peaked at the temperature in the picture. I can't even see the picture because it does the same thing as the videos, it doesn't let me view anything. Doesn't even let me play games.

Ran MemTest overnight for 8 passes and all 8 passed.

Didn't even know I had infections. I usually am VERY careful with things. Guess you can't be too careful though.

Trying to complete the genuine guidelines you gave me, it's tough because I keep getting the BSOD's like every 5 minutes with the browser open.

Sorry to say UniqueDeath, but you need to activate windows using a legal key only to get rid of this situation.

I have a legal key. I only tried to RemoveWat after these BSOD's removed my key(at least that's what I think it is). My dad's company that he works for has business licenses that they sometimes have extras of. That's where I got my key. Before these BSOD's I never had a problem with Windows being genuine. I've had this computer for almost two years (will be 2 years old in May) and have never experienced this problem.

EDIT:

I could try to re-input my key that I got, I would just have to talk to my dad. I'll update you guys when my Windows is GENUINELY genuine again, lol =P.

Re-EDIT:

Oh and BTW, this FOR SURE has something to do with my display driver. Every time I disable it from Device Manager, nothing happens. The BSODs stop.
