Newbie here. Getting BSOD consistently every day. Sometimes occurs while using the computer and often has occurred while the computer was in screen saver mode and I come back to find it restarted.

This is a home built computer....built at the beginning of this year and everything ran fine until last few weeks (not sure how to tell what changed). I know enough to be dangerous but not enough to diagnose this. I followed the SF Diagnostics directions and attached the zip file here.

Please let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to SevenForums tdub4,

Most of your BSOD-s were caused by Asus Charger Driver and its Likely a BSOD cause

You should update its driver if you use it but I'd suggest to completely uninstall/delete it and see if the problem reoccurs.

See the threads below which are similar to your case:
Hope that helps,
KK

Looks like the same AIcharger is causing the problem. Were you able to delete it?

Update your video card drivers:

Well, I deleted the AI Charger through the ASUS utility for all of their tools. AI Charger no longer shows up as an option to select as a tool. I guess the driver may still exist somewhere?

I will try the NVIDIA route now as well. I see the NVIDIA drivers are for Vista...is the the right one for Win7?

Thanks again.

Check if driver sweeper finds any driver related to AI charger. If it does delete them.

Thanks Arc. I cannot seem to find that driver. I uninstalled AI Charger and used Driver Fusion and cannot seem to find it out there. I will see if I can go through the Asus update and get around it that way. Thanks again.

It appears it was in fact the AI Charger driver. I have not had a BSOD since last week. I did finally find it and removed it. Thanks to everyone for their input!
