BSOD Everytime I'm playing games

I think its the time to change the GPU. As you are having issues with multiple versions of drivers, those can be addressed as the hardware error.

Hi,

I'll bare that in mind, the card is roughly 6-7 months from brand new.

I'm going to give my card to a friend and see if it has any problems on his machine, (only difference in the setup is motherboard), if not then I'll change the motherboard, the GPU tests fine on all tests that have been done. If he experiences the same issue then I'll probably change the GPU.

Reason I'm thinking motherboard is my Onboard LAN disappeared and I have never been able to get it to come back (Thinking I may have shorted something on the board without knowing it, maybe taking card out whilst still power in the machine although switched off), even after a bios RESET the LAN has never returned, after reformat I expected it to come back but no luck.

Could it not be a driver issue?

The only drivers I have ever used with this card are the drivers from my "lost" CD, which then forced my to download the latest driver, that's around the same time the problems started, then I tried the driver you suggested and my games started to work again, just seems a bit odd, The card ran flawlessly before I lost my driver CD.

404, try to understand the situation.

A stop 0xa000001 BSOD causes for ATI/AMD GPUs only. It has nothing to do with the motherboard.
Similarly, "display driver crashed and now recovered" is also a GPU related issue. Motherboard has nothing to do with it.

As the issues persists with different versions of display driver, we can point it out to a failing GPU. Based on those we can never blame a motherboard as failing. We can say it is a GPU issue, and i amy happen to a GPU which it just out of the box, too.

But if have other reasons to believe that the motherboard is corrupt, you may go with it. From whatever I have seen till now, I have no reason to call it a motherboard failure.

Hello Arc,

I have reported the code to VTX3D Tech support and am awaiting a response, with a bit of luck I'll get a replacement as 3 year factory warrant.

I'll keep you posted as to what they say.

Your bad luck. If the new card is also showing 0xa000001 BSOD, first try different versions of the display driver.
If it happens with multiple versions, then better you shift to nvidia
