BSOD Frequently, usually when watching video using VLC player/youtube

Hi Guys
My computer is having a serious BSOD issue lately. This has been disturbing me a few months ago, but the frequency is much lesser at that time. I try to format and reinstall the OS but this doesn't help after a few days.
I have installed a new additional hard drive last month and nth else has been changed after purchase. (like 2 years from now)
I hope someone in here can bless me with the solution. Thanks

Sounds like it's a processor-related issue, this BSOD occurs when the processor is non-responsive or is deadlocked. Run Prime 95 to test your CPU. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs).
Note that this test may overheat the CPU, ensure proper cooling.

Possible causes:

a) BIOS bug
b) A driver whose activity is causing the target processor to lock up
c) A hardware defect
