Solved BSOD from atikmpag.sys while playing CS:GO or Payday 2

In this day and time, you have to have an anti virus. Even an average anti virus is better than none at all. MSE is the only anti virus that has never caused a BSOD. CPUz will tell you voltages but not temps. Something like core Temp(Core Temp) or Real temp (Real Temp - CPU temperature monitoring) will tell you CPU temps and MSI Afterburner (MSI Afterburner) will tell you GPU temps.

I'm not so sure real old drivers will help you much.

Ok so my problem seems to be solved.

I've used the methods mentioned here; but they didn't seem to work for me. Then, when I was prompted about not having a Graphics Driver, I deleted the files atikmpag.sys AND atikmdag.sys from system32/drivers/ and installed the latest update again. I haven't seen the mighty BSoD since.

I'll mark this one as solved.
