Hello,

This is my 2nd thread relating to this issue. I seem to be getting the run around with this issue and a resolution would be much apreciated if possible.

For weeks now I have been getting BSOD issues and it has become more frequent lately. I have tried every fix I can think of hardware related, such as; memtest86 and everything checks out okay, Hard Drive test from the BIOS which reports no errors, I have a Evga GTX 460 and removed that and ran from OEM graphics which it still gave out, I tried using only 1 monitor (I have a dual display), I have tried a different keyboard, I have reseated the RAM. I have also tried several software fixes, such as driver updates. I ran every update from the HP.com site relating to my model (P6540Y), this included the BIOS, ralink wireless, realtek network, RAID, Logmein, I have ran the driver veifier utility (suggestion from other thread, which I still don't understand the purpose), lastly I completed reformated the computer to a fresh copy. Any suggestions please!!!:D

I have a....

Evga GTX 460 768MB

All the information in usasma's link above is needed to analyze your crashes.
Please Download the BSOD Dump & System File Collection app, run it and post the information and also Run a System Health Report.

From the previous post, how long did you run memtest86+?
How many passes did it do?
It is necessary to run at least 7 full passes, with 8GB RAM it will take 7 or more hours.
Memtest86+ is highly recommended but the fact is no testing app can find intermittent RAM faults with a short test, sometimes it takes several overnight tests.

Driver verifier stresses the drivers in order to find one or more that are failing, this may take up to 24-36 hours.
This is a good tool to find out if there is a driver causing the crashes.

Some programs can interfere with the OS drivers or system, they can and do affect some computers while having no affect on others.
Just because another computer is running a certain software with no issues doesn't mean that it will run stable on a different computer, this is due to the components and their electronic sub-systems.
All electronic devices are not physically and functionally the same, a CPU or RAM may fail on one motherboard and run fine on another.
