BSOD, I think caused by the Nvidia Graphics Card

Hello everyone,

I own an Asus n61jv notebook with a core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and two video cards:one integrated from Intel and one from Nvidia, GT 325M.

I had some problems with powering it since the beginning and took it to the service. On return, on Ubuntu everything was fine, but after reinstalling windows 7, I have often Blue Screens. I think this is because of the 325M graphic card, because when it starts ( it has optimus so the dedicated card starts only when needed ) then the BSOD occurs.

I have windows 7, 64 Bit ... on installing I let him install the drivers from Windows update and I only installed the nvidia driver from the asus site ( ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Notebooks - ASUS N61Jv ). Everything was fine for a couple of hours, then suddenly the BSOD appeared or the system just froze.

I attached the files to spot the problem, and want to thank you very much.

Best Regards,
Dan.

Please go to Device Manager and see what devices have issues (I think it'll be your USB controller and your PCI controller). As such, please visit the Asus support website and download and install the motherboard/chipset drivers for your system.

There are 45 to 60 (or more) hotfixes available from Windows Update. Your system only has 2. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL the updates for your system.

2 of the BSOD's are STOP 0x116's and they point at your nVidia card/drivers. Please follow the troubleshooting advice at this link: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.htmlAlthough not 100% certain, I suspect the ks.sys BSOD will be taken care of by Windows Update.

Your ATK Hotkey ATK0101 ACPI UTILITY Driver(atk64amd.sys) is from 2006, please update it from the Asus Support website.
