Solved Bsod - irql_gt_zero_at_system_service - random reboots

Hi,
Hoping someone can help me with a random BSOD. My PC seems to randomly BSOD with no particular pattern or action that causes the BSOD. I have run MemTest86 overnight - 9 iterations with no errors found. I have attached a zip file with the requested information.

Currently running Avast AV and Comodo FW

Uninstall Lavasoft\Ad-Aware Antivirus. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Report us for any further BSOD.

Hi, Thanks for your reply - have un-installed Avast and followed your recommendation - installed MSE. So far so go, will report back in a week or so if successful.

Avast??? :sarc: I think I suggested something else! What you have actually done?? And, were you using multiple antivirus programs there?

Uninstall Lavasoft\Ad-Aware Antivirus.

EDIT: Avast is present in your system specs only, but not in your system. So that cannot be uninstalled. I am really wondering what is going on there.The data you uploaded in the post #1 shows ....

Appologies - my bad - I meant Ad-Aware / Lavasoft (senior moment ... but not a senior which is even worse!!)
