Bsod "irql_not_less_or_equal"

Receive the BSOD message randomly upon startup. Sometimes it starts up without issue, sometimes it appears and restarts, then appears again.

Any advice?

OS: Windows x86 Home Premium

The crashes are pointing to hard disk problems or viruses.

Also, since you did not follow the http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html, or fill out your system specs (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html may help in that regard), I will have to provide some generic instructions.

I do not know what hard disk you have, so please run the short and long tests with SeaTools for Windows to determine whether your hard disk is functioning properly. If you cannot run SeaTools for Windows, please use SeaTools for DOS.
