Hello everyone,
As of two days ago, my computer started crashing regularly. There doesn't seem to be any common actions;
-It crashed as I was attempting to type an email.
-It crashed after reboot, while I was trying to type a Skype message to a tech friend.
-It crashed over and over as I attempted to open skype. I finally booted in safe mode, which seemed to stabalize it. Apologies for my grammar; my text is appearing a good 10 seconds after I type it(typing all this from safe mode w/ networking, which is SLLLOOOOWWWWWWW, an I'm scared to try to go back and correct it)
-I updated skype, and the computer ran fine. Until about 2 hours later, when it crashed again, this time while I was playing world of warships.
-I left it running and went to a friend's house for two hours; when i came back it had crashed again.
This is all in the last two days. The only updates I've done are Adobe's newest patch and Skype's patch. the patching skype seemed to stablize it, until it started crashing again. I implore you, internet, help me. My business relies on my computer notdeciding it's time to die every 10 minutes; so far i've been out of work for two days trying to get my system to stabliize.
What could be causing this? I checked my video card drivers and they claim they're up to date. I have long since lost my Windows 7 Ultimate info, so they don't let me get updates anymore.
I listed everything I know about my computer during registration here on Sevenforum, but let me know what info you need, and how I obtain it. I'm decently competent, but I've never had such severe BSOD beofre. before two days ago, it BS'ed maybe once or twice every 6 months; completely randomly.
Are there any free scan programs to diagnose this? Windows "Help" is a hilarious oxymoron, and tells me it can't find anything wrong. shocking, that.
