I think I followed the instructions. BSOD is almost always preceded by USB ports shutting down

All of your BSOD's point to your driver for your Apple charger as the culprit. Like... all of them. So either you have a problem with your chargers driver or you have a bad USB which would ultimately boil down to the motherboard needing replaced (unless the problem USB's are on the case).

If you remove the charger, do you continue to have BSODs?

I occasionally plug the iPhone in (but never the iPad) - but to the best I can recall I've never seen BSOD when the cable was plugged in. Usually I lose the printer first (USB), did notice my RC flight simulator lost connectivity

Actually, I will give you an easier option. Looking at that link is confusing, even to me.

Download Revo Uninstaller
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Uninstall any Gigabyte software that is present

If that doesn't help, try uninstalling the update (Find it in Device manager and uninstall it
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/77614-device-manager-hidden-devices.html

Or go to Safe Mode
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html?ltr=S

Navigate here C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename AppleCharger.sys to AppleCharger.sys.old

Gator - downloaded Revo and uninstalled the Gigabytes RAID driver (only Gigabytes it found). I'll let you know if BSOD surfaces again. Thanks!
