BSOD Kernal Data Inpage Error Stop: 0x0000007A

Even trying to boot into safe mode, I get the BSOD saying...

Code:
Windows has shut down to prevent damage.

KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

*** Stop: 0x0000007A

It said it is a Memory Dump Crash

I tried a MemTest 86+.
It hung at 25% on the first part.

Installation usb also has cmd at boot.

chkdsk found no errors

sfc scannow was able to correct all errors it found.

I'm still not able to boot into safe mode, safe mode with networking, normal.

I even get this BSOD when I choose last known good configuration.

I have a dual boot. Ubuntu boots up fine.
Ubuntu allows me to access the Windows 7 directories.

What location is the dump files.
I don't remember if I configured for a 256 mini dump.

hi
have at look at these locations

C:\Windows\Minidump\xxxxx-xxxxx-01.dmp
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-xxxxx-x.sysdata.xml

the second generated code will point to the problem.
not sure why memtest hung, considering you can run Ubuntu, kinda rules out memory problems

my best guess is that your pagefile.sys is corrupt,
quick check and fix, reset to zero(turn off) REBOOT then back on

2nd guess
corrupt hibernation file

reboot between actions

Thank you

I'll be working on it and report the results

Meanwhile...
.
I have no Minidump subfolder in the C:\Windows directory.
There are no *.xml files in th the directory %userdir%\AppData\Local\Temp

When I look in the C:\ I see a few *.tmp files beginning with the word DUMPxxxx.tmp.
There's also a pagefile.sys and hyberfil.sys in this location.

Would those be of any use?

i'll have a look at the temp files.

if there quite big please zip them

sudden thought as your dual booting, how full is your C drive, needs to be less than 90%

Thank you for your time and dedication

I used the install media to enter the cmd at boot to replace the corrupted files using sfc /scannow

It allowed me to perform a "clean" install of Windows 7.

I deleted the Ubuntu partition and after the install was complete, I configured for a mini dump and set the paging file to the custom recommended size.

I also enabled and configured for creating restore points.
