I recently have had issues with BSOD and can't seem to resolve this occurence...In my event viewer I have found some information and have also found out how to retrieve dump file which is attached as follows. This link is also describing an issue logged into event viewer when BSOD happens...

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/7ed11100-3cf1-4351-951e-8ec409a7de03.aspx

Zip file contains information produced after running .exe program for windows 7....dump files etc.

Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r.
Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

Do the exact same steps for chkdsk /r but instead of typing in sfc /scannow type chkdsk /r.

Run Prime95, when running it check the temps. If they go too high stop the test. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html

Im think its the power supply causing the crash....the temp doesnt get overly hot just that the voltage is high....any input?

Hmm, in rare cases it might be the PSU but i don't think it is this time. Is the CPU Cooler working ok?

I know that you said that. In stresses the voltage is supposed to get high because it is stressing the CPU very much. It dosen't hurt to check the PSU though. Can you borrow a friend's PSU and check?

Thats what I am working on now is trying to get another psu from a friend to test it but even when the computer isnt stressed and sitting idle its not heating up but the voltage is consistantly high. Also going to try and send the dump files and event error messages in attachment again.

That sounds like a PSU issue for sure.
