I am getting some BSOD's. I had the latest one just now watching a video in Media Player Classic. Thinking it might be overheating i have tried first cleaning my computer and then playing the same video for a bit, but the hottest part of the computer is only 46 C. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

your crash dumps are rather silent about the cause could you please enable driver verifier? Here is a tutorial on how to do that:

Driver Verifier

once it is enabled allow it to crash your system and then disable it and post your new crash dumps here

Tip: if you cant boot normally into windows after enabling driver verifier please boot into safe mode by pressing F8 during the boot screens and then selecting safe mode from the menu that pops up. then upload the new files once DV is uninstalled

Some time went by and i did not get any more BSOD's, so foolishly i thought the problem had passed and disabled Driver Verifier (I should have written that i thought the problem was over, sorry about that), but then i got BSOD's 2 days in a row and reenabled the verifier. But now when i reboot to enable it i get a BSOD. The only way i can get windows to work again is to do a system restore and thus not have driver verifier enabled. I have attached a new zip file created while windows was in safe mode. Hope it has some useful info.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Unfortunately since you restored the system to an earlier point the dumps created by driver verifier were not saved in order to avert the constant BSOD loop please see the tip I highlighted in my comment from my previous post. The best I can do is speculate about the cause of your BSOD based on out dated drivers.

So on that note please do the following:

Insure that the firmware for your SSD is up to date

Update your video card drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/US/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

I was pretty sure i did the correct thing the first time, I created the zip file in safe mode, but did do a system restore before posting it. Just to be sure i made sure to turn the creation of dump files on (changed it to full version), restarted, reenabled Driver Verifier, restarted, let it do the BSOD, made sure it wrote it was creating a dump file, booted in safe mode, created the ZIP and am writing this from safe mode, but i can not find the latest dumpfile. I checked both in the ZIP and also with Nirsoft: Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files. can simply can not find the dump file. Not really sure what to do. I attached the zip anyway just in case it makes a difference. The file is larger now so it is possible i am just not able to see it.

I am going to disable driver verifier this time instead of doing a system restore.

I updated to the latest GPU driver. I checked that i have the latest SSD firmware but already have it according to Samsung SSD magician.

Thanks for your patience.

OK thanks to a member of the BSOD team It seems that I may have more answers, to begin please uninstall both Zone alarm and Daemon tools, once daemon tools is uninstalled please download and run this tool:

DuplexSecure - Downloads

When the tool runs if the uninstall button is grayed out then your done and you can close the window. if not click the uninstall button and let the tool run. DO NOT click the install button it will install a driver known to cause BSODs.

It also seems you have a Kaspersky driver installed on your system that is known to cause BSODs I dont see kasperky on your list of installed programs, but if it is installed please uninstall it using this tool: Kaspersky Removal Tool and replace it with MSE and Mbam if it is not installed please go to C:\windows\system32\klif.sys and manually delete the driver, if there is a UAC prompt click yes.
