BSOD loop

First off, I know you have a laptop, but have you over clocked it? I know if i clock my desktop to high it will BSOD loop. however the fact that your using a laptop makes this highly unlikely.

no i haven't. though i did order a new HDD from newegg.com yesterday so hopefully this should solve the problem.

I have the new HDD installed and am typing from the laptop for this response so i guess case closed. Thank you for all the time.

Sounds like corrupt Windows files or a faulty HDD.
