If your specs are correct, and you're running an Asus P5Q motherboard, it's an Intel P45 chipset with ICH10R, yes.

Hi all.. my problem still continue..

Today i tested my asus's ram slots.. i have 4 ddr2 slots.. and i realize my comp doesnt even start with 2 of them.. and other one of them is not working stable.. only one slot working properly.. i guess the problem is causing of my asus.. is there any program to test my asus? i mean i try slots manually but im not really sure if this is a good solution.. i wonder if there is program to test my asus.. cause my asus still under warranty and if it is the problem i will send it to warranty.. but there is a problem to sending it cause they will give that back at least 3 weeks later.. so i had to be sure before sending my asus..

btw.. 3 years ago, i had this issue with my old asus too.. i guess from now on i will never buy anything from asus..

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.
Use that to test your Ram and mobo slots. Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots. Becaue you have suspected 2 of the slots, let's eliminate them and test on the other 2 slots. It can be compatibility issue between the 2 stick of ram ( you will know about that if test together give error, but individual no error)
