nah the problem is more profund than the MBR restoration. We need someone with a little more knowledge.

Yes. As I said, I've been running partition recovery software. The problem is that those programs are not finding my main partition, which is very strange.

If you can get a hold of some blank CD's you can try a different program and see if that works.

BINGO! I was luck to find a program somewhere in the middle of Hirens Boots CD that is named something like "partition wizard 4" which did find my 2 correct partitions C and D like magic... I don´t know how stupid were the other programs I´ve tried but all of them failed to give me my JUST deleted partitions, which should´t be a problem at all, since those 2 partitions were the 2 most obvious and more recoverable of all. Then I recovered the 2 partitions and did the windows startup recovery and BINGO, not only I had all my partition D files back but also I recovered the windows installation partition and like an act of faith the blue screens are gone now... I really don´t know what "cured" that installation, but after it went dead and it´s revival by me, it´s cured. I am a man of faith indeed.
