I'm experiencing BSOD on a newly installed Windows 7. This is happening at startup, BSOD is lasting only a fraction of a second so I can't get a better look at it. I'm not able to get into it. This only started happening when I turned on the PC today, before that it was running fine, all I can remember is I installed Adobe Reader DC. I'm unable to do startup repair. Windows installation CD is showing incompatible hardware architecture error. I can't come up with any explanation for this other than Macroshit hacking to make me upgrade to Windows 10.

Hello nirashauser can you please follow this first and then follow the two links so we can see what the dumps are.
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.

Thanks for trying to help. My Windows folder doesn't have any of the dump files mentioned in the links. I've updated my system details. Is there anyway I can enable with Windows installation CD.

Hmm now run these in case the system files are corrupt or somehow not there, and while we are at it run the malware scans too. .
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f switch and if this does not make any improvement then just run this switch instead /r in the command line as per Option2
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary

if no fix then these

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!
Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes Premium
AdwCleaner Download
ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If you are running Kaspersky as the main AV then it might need disabling it when trying ADW because it does not like it at times)

I re-installed and I'm still experiencing the same problem, sometimes randomly. I've attached them in a zip file.

About this, I've connected to a different SATA port with a different cable, I was able to run without encountering this problem for at least 45 minutes, just when I was thinking it was either the port or cable, the problem came back and ran into the BSOD with F4.

I ran Malware Bytes and it came clean, now I'm back to using the earlier SATA port and cable, so far I haven't encountered this problem.

Ok have you done what Roy asked? if not do that first please

Now the last dumps you sent have a dump that is probably caused by the had drive

Code:
BUGCHECK_STR: [COLOR="Red"] 0xF4[/COLOR]

It would not hurt to run a test on that drive so use this
SeaTools for Windows |
Seagate
use the short drive self test first - but only do this after using the link Roy has posted.

Short Drive Self Test passed few days back, Long and Short Generic Tests passed too. I've contacted Seagate over this very same problem asking them to replace, they asked me to run those tests and send screenshots of those tests. I'll reconnected to earlier SATA port and cable. I'll check if this problem comes again.
