Hi

I get BSOD on boot up, it does it first thing, may be once or twice, but then runs OK until the next start up.

Thanks for any help

Just realized I may have not uploaded all the files.

Sorry

Ok had a look through your files, and a couple of things of note:

Some of your BSODs are being caused by a packet sniffer you appear to be using:
Code:
*******************************************************************************
*                                                                             *
*                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
*                                                                             *
*******************************************************************************

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

BugCheck 50, {fffff6fc40057000, 0, fffff8000446e6b6, 9}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for pssdk42.sys

You can update the driver/software from here: Bandwidth monitor, bandwidth speed test, bandwidth and traffic monitoring tool for Windows

The other BSOD you are getting is rather silent about the cause:

Code:
*******************************************************************************
*                                                                             *
*                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
*                                                                             *
*******************************************************************************

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

BugCheck A, {0, 2, 0, fffff800044dc315}

Probably caused by : ndis.sys ( ndis!ndisMQueuedFinishClose+86 )

Followup: MachineOwner

But the usual causes for this BSOD are:
Code:
Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

so with that information in mind please do the following:

For testing purposes please remove Kaspersky using the Kaspersky Removal Tool, then replace it with a combination of Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Antimalware. Tip When installing malwarebytes be sure to uncheck the box offering to start a free trial.

Next please remove the following program it is likely doing more harm than good:
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\TuneUp Utilities 2012
Start Menu\Programs\TuneUp Utilities 2012\All functions

OK Thanks

Thinking about it the problem may have started with the installation of the sniffer.

Will try all your suggestions and see how it goes.

Hi
Thanks for the quick and spot on reply, after further investigation it appears that the packet sniffer is the problem, there have been reports that it causes the BSOD.

Thanks again.
