BSOD on self built system (NEW)

After you run sfc /scannow, we can check some of the hardware settings and drivers.

Which Intel storage driver we're you trying to install?

If your BIOS is set to AHCI or RAID you should use the Intel Regular 9.6.0.1014 drivers.

Can you download CPUZ and post the CPU, Mainboard, Memory and SPD tabs in your next post.
Use the "Snipping Tool" and you can select the CPUZ tabs to post.
Have a look at the tutorial on uploading pictures to the Forum.
For snipping tool, start button> in the search box type 'Snipping tool' >enter.
Select the area you want to copy, save to a convient place.

The info will help us with the next steps.

Have you changed RAM or NB voltages in BIOS before?
Are the setting still in 'Auto'?

Edit:
Just noticed you are OC'ing the CPU.

Have you OC'ed anything else?

It will be best to return all BIOS settings to optimized default until the BSOD issues are resolved, then you can OC again.
When the system is OC'ed it adds to many variables to try and find the cause, will be much easier to return all settings to stock.

Thank you, Dave.

I ran a scannow and it did not find any integrity violations.

That narrows things down to drivers and hardware. Dave is a hardware expert. Follow his suggestions.

Alright, here we go:

First, my intel storage driver were way outdated so I did download the 9.6.0.1014 driver.

My OC settings are very stable. I had these settings back in my old system before I built this computer and they didn't give me any troubles whatsoever. Also I did a prime 95 test and every thing was stable. If the problem persists, I will revert back to default settings, but I truly believe it has something to do with my storage drivers (SSD) when I switched from IDE to AHCI.

Were you able to get the Intel driver to install?
If not, what driver are you running now?
What method did you use to switch from IDE to AHCI?

As OldMX suggested, change the Command Rate to 2, this may help.

What is the DRAM and NB voltage?

Is your RAM cards 3x2GB configuration, in slots A1, B1 and C1?

What was your 'old system'?

Even an identical CPU might not OC with the same results, I recommend to reset the BIOS to defaults. You can OC again when these issues are resolved.

The intel drivers were 8.8 something and yes I was able to install the new intel driver (9.6.0.1014).

DRAM Voltage: 1.64

If there isn't a BSOD today, then I know its already stable considering I usually get 6 a day. I do believe that the intel driver did it though, so I'll just have to wait and see. So far I've gamed quite a bit (which is where all of my BSOD happen) and I have yet to have one. I will post back and with a dump summary if I get one.
