BSOD on shut down (linked to USB device/driver failure)

Hello,

I recently started having issues with my USB wifi stick. In irregular intervals (several times a day, especially, but not exclusively, when I'm running resource intensive programs) it will stop working completely as if it had been disconnected from the computer and it won't resume operation even if I unplug it and plug it in again until I restart my computer,
Sadly it doesn't end there. When I try to shut down my computer after experiencing this issue it either gets stuck in the "shutting down" screen at the end I have to hard reset my computer or it crashes with a BSOD mentioning something about USB_drivers. Even then my troubles aren't over yet, I usually have to restart my computer several times or the problem is almost guaranteed to repeat itself within 10 minutes.
Other minor symptoms linked to the problem include system massive slow down after the device failure and before the restart and my mouse taking several minutes to connect after the restart. I should also mention that I recently bought and installed the Logitech webcam C270.

I am considering buying a new wifi stick, but I'd rather not spend money on new hardware only to then experience the same issue.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit. The BSOD crash dump is attached - or at least I hope it's the right thing. If there's anything else you need, just let me know.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Torugu

The problem has worsened since I first posted this thread.

My computer now refuses to boot most of the time. It usually follows the following pattern:

computer hangs in login screen -> hard restart (by holding power button pressed) -> Startup Repair -> restart -> computer boots normally (though still experiencing some issues) -> restart -> computer refuses to boot and eventually crashes with BSOD stating something about the video driver failing to initialize -> hard restart -> computer hangs in longin screen

If somebody could please help me I would be incredibly grateful.

(Please tell me if this is not in the right section, so I can move the thread to the right area, thanks.)
