Hi, first time posting so I hope I've followed the rules.

On start up, after the windows logo has loaded but before the login screen comes up I get the BSOD error:

win32k.sys
"PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, error 0x00000050".

I have included the Diagnostic Information (there are lots of crash dumps in the .zip, but I guess its the most recent one that im concerned about)

Hope someone can help!

Can you boot into the OS in safe mode? You need to navigate to C:/Windows/System32/FNTCACHE.DAT rename the
FNTCACHE.DAT to FNTCACHE.DAT.OLD and reboot. See if that fixes your problems. If not Intser the Windows installation DVD an when you get to the screen that says 'where do you want to install Windows' select advanced options, then select load driver. It will enable you to navigate to your C drive and find that folder and rename is as above. Then cancel your way out and try to reboot, it should work.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I ran a system reboot successfully and my computer is working at the moment. I have done this once before, but waking up this morning the BSOD was back, on which I ran another system restore and I am currently on my computer now. Should I still proceed with renaming the file?

Yes, it won't hurt anything and is most likely the problem you are having. When you rename the file and reboot, Windows will rebuild the file which is most likely corrupted. If everything runs OK for a while, you can delete the file you renamed.

Ok, just to clarify. Do I need to run in safe mode to rename it, or can I rename it having run windows normally?

No, regular mode is fine. I only said safe mode because you said you couldn't boot in normal mode. BTW, that is your font cache file, so not a big deal, unless it is corrupted.
