So, My dad was asking me to fix his computer that had been adding files to the c drive by its self, I managed to fix the issue, it was some weird .cab files that were being added to the windows/temp folder. Now as I was finishing up on the computer I noticed that my dad hadn't updated the computer in at least a year. I even saw some windows updates all the way from back in 2012.

Told him to take care of those and left his house.

Now 2 hours later he calls me and tells me his computer is stuck on this: 1.jpg - Google Drive screen.

He can move his cursor but nothing does anything including the keyboard. He tried rebooting apparently. I can't access the computer myself right now, but I might be going back over there tomorrow to check up on it. Do you guys have any idea what this could be/how I could fix it? or even maybe something I could tell my not so tech savvy father to try?

Thanks

Are you sure it's from the updates? I have all updates from Windows Update installed, but never encountered problem like this. You can try to start the computer in Safe Mode, updates can be uninstalled from there.

Yeah, that's one thing I'll make sure to check, thanks. Again, it'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'll get back to this you if I fix it.
