Daemon Tools (also Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although we have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions). Please uninstall Daemon Tools.
As an alternative:
------------------------
Reduce the start-up items, Antivirus software is basically whats required.
------------------------
Avast! is often a cause of BSODs. Please remove it with its removal tool.

Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc000001d, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffffa8007fae653, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffff88003584808, Exception Record Address
Arg4: fffff88003584060, Context Record Address

Thank you for all the tips, I will try them one by one to try to determine if one of them is causing this and let you know if I find something.

P.S. forgot to mention that it is happening very quickly after I switch power on.

Have you tried booting into safe mode?

To summarize:
  • Uninstall Daemon Tools & Tune-up.
  • Clean Start-up.
  • Uninstall Avast, put up MSE and scan with the rest.
  • Keep an eye on the temps (although it might not be a heating issue).
