Every once in a while (maybe once every 2 days) I will get a BSOD on startup. This has been going on for probably a year. I just got used to living with it and it hasn't seemed to do any serious damage yet. However as my laptop gets older, I'm afraid it might.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Kyle

Hello Zedzimz.

I have examined the dump files created after each BSOD and all point to iusb3xhc.sys which is the driver for Intel USB 3.0 extensible host controller, I looked in the driver list and the version you have got is very old:

Code:
[COLOR=Red]3/29/2013[/COLOR]   C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\iusb3xhc.sys

I would recommend that you use this tool by Intel to update drivers:

Intel Driver Update Utility

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Cheers, Boris :)
