Hey guys...

I'm having a problem while playing Alan Wake or Assassins Creed 3.
My PC just resets (not even show the BSOD) and when it starts again I see an error message about the BSOD.

Which says:
BCC Code: 116
0x00000116 (0xfffffa8004ec6160, 0xfffff88007c0cadc, 0xffffffffc000009a, 0x0000000000000004).

I really don't know why I'm having such issue with those games.
I can play Dota 2, Dishonored or Battlefield 3 for hours and nothing happens. Tried already to update my drivers, directx and all those stuff but didn't help. :(

My PC specs are:

- Quad Core Q8400 2.66Ghz
- 4GB RAM
- 2 HDs (1TB-Seagate and 250GB-Samsung)
- GeForce GTX 460 - 1GB DDR5
- Windows 7 Ultimate

In the attachments I uploaded the SF diagnostic.
Hope you guys can help me!

Thank you in advance...

First step would be to uninstall your drivers, run this tool, then visit nvidia site to update/reinstall drivers

Have a look through this thread for other stuff to try http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Also please update your system specs so we know what we are dealing with.

IMO thats to high, your max temp the card can take is 104 C but i would expect to see the card throttle back before then to reduce load, think its time to get inside the case and do some early spring cleaning, you need to get right into/inside the heatsinks and fans and clean them out, cans of compressed air are best for doing this if they are available to you, you would be suprised how clean looking heatsinks can have a few bits of dust jammed right into the fins that can help temps if you get it out

Yeah, Now I'm kinda sure that my GPU is having problems, cause one of the fans is not working, even with 90% of the fan speed. I might know someone who can help me cleaning it.

I'm getting a little worried about losing it :/
Do you guys know if its possible to replace the fans?

For now I'm gonna try something and use with a "house fan" outside my PC and see if I get any problems. Maybe its no even the heat causing the driver crashing.

It is possible to change fan but its how they mount onto the card some have specific mounting holes/pins/screws that are specific for that card some are a bit more generic and easier to replace

Hmm I see..
I'll look for help with Gigabyte, maybe they can tell me how to change.

Thank you Pauly, you have been of a great help :D

I'll mark this thread as solved.
