Uninstall AVG using AVG Remover. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

Updated to SP1 got rid of AVG using the remover and downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials. Just played my first game of BF3 without it giving me a BSOD and everything seems to be running perfect now. Thank you very much :)

BSOD and crashes while viewing full screen videos and BF3

So I had a problem earlier today that I posted about. I seem to fix the BSOD issue by updating video drivers/update BIOS/update to Service Pack 1. Now my computer will randomly turn off and then reboot itself but the video card won't be recognized and I would have a blank screen until I do a hard restart of the computer. No BSOD or error message would come up once I boot back up. The only error message it would say would be Windows Shut down unexpectedly. I grabbed some of the recent BSODs and all my computer info. I do know that these problems could be caused by bad ram, video card overheating, power supply. Happens usually while playing BF3 and viewing videos full screen at 720p.

Edit: Just got another BSOD seems to be the RAM. Going to run MEMTEST to see whats up.

It is some hardware issue. But which element of hardware is failing is not clear from the available data.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download. Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

Disable Raid in the BIOS. Uninstall Generic Marvell 61xx RAID Controller. Raid is always problematic, and Marvell is a poorly written driver, and it is very old here.
Code:
fffff880`01020000 fffff880`01066000   mv61xx     (deferred)

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings. Also set the BIOS to default, too.
How To Clear CMOS (Reset BIOS)

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
At least 30% extra is safe.

The BIOS is very old.
Code:
BiosMajorRelease = 8
BiosMinorRelease = 15
BiosVendor = American Megatrends Inc.
BiosVersion = 0605
[COLOR=Red]BiosReleaseDate = 09/21/2009[/COLOR]
Plan to update the BIOS. Get the Version 2102 dated 2010.07.30 from M4A79XTD EVO - Motherboards - ASUS

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.
ATI_zps0bc28aaa.jpg

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Also, I am assuming that it is an old system. In that case, you need to dismantle the PC and clean the inside carefully. Clean specially the air vents and fan grills. When re-seating, dont forget to apply thermal paste to the CPU.

Let us know when all are done.

Having 4 sticks of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM I split them up into 2 and ran them over night and while I was at work until the 11th test for memtext86+. Both passed and zero errors were found. I ran Furmark and got up to 60 degrees Celsius with fan speeds at 41% for 20mins (constant fan speed and temp from the 11th minute to when I stopped). I did update my BIOS to the most recent version. I am running the Prime 95 stress test now (will run for about 2 hours as a post said to do). I have never overclocked my system and have always kept everything at defaults for speeds. I have been reading that both my motherboard and processor sometimes will cause BSODs and errors when using all slots of RAM. Right now I only have 2 sticks in too see if that makes a difference. Also my Power supply from using the power supply chart is at 304w and I have a 500w PSU. Will update as day/night continues. Thank you for the help.
