Hey everyone,

I am getting intermittent BSODs when I have Black Desert Online playing that is outputting via DVI and also usually Chrome playing a video that's outputting via HDMI to a TV. Can anyone help with why this is occurring? =/ I uploaded the minidump that occurred after the BSOD. If there's any more info that I need to provide, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi xsleepejelly,

The crash appears to be caused by a driver that looks to be known for causing BSODs when a game is hacked.

Thanks for responding axe0. I haven't made any modifications to the game though for this to happen though. I will repair the game files just in case there was something that occurred with the game files. Also, I ran the minidump onto Blue Screen Viewer and it said that it was cause by the notskrnl.exe. Any reason why it would say something different?

Ntoskrnl is the default to blame and the one calling the crash due to something critical going wrong. If nothing else can be identified ntoskrnl is being blamed although it's never the cause.

Okay that makes sense. I have sent in a ticket to the BDO support ticket to see if they can help me further with the crash. It seems that the game uses the xhunter1.sys for their xigncode so I will get them to troubleshoot the issue. Thanks for your help!
