Hey, had a recent blue screen show up in a few different situations; which, as far as I recall, were the same things showing up in the 'Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown' popup. The DM log collector results are with this post, and if more information than that is needed I will provide what I can. The most recent ones (yesterday and some time this evening) occurred while I was playing Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, in addition to streaming it. I thought perhaps maybe I was putting too much of a strain on my CPU or other hardware, but the problem did not reoccur until some time this evening, while I was out. I'd put the computer into sleep mode while out of the house, and when I returned and attempted to wake it, it went straight to bootup after sounding like it was returning to sleep mode; that is, I could hear it winding up to powered on, then it went back down, and restarted. The unexpected shutdown window popped up after logging back in.

Ah, forgot the details. My specs are still accurate, but just in case they don't show up properly

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.
  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below
34700d1440923396-bsod-0x124-whea_uncorrectable_error-nothing-works-a887c9d9e7.png

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

Please update your BIOS to version 1703
