But which driver caused the BSOD is not clear. We may try to search for the failing driver by using driver verifier, or your plan to go for a clean reinstall is not a bad idea at all. Fresh clean reinstalls are always good.

Decide and let us know. Will suggest the further steps based on your decision. Whatever it may be, it is subject to overcome by either process. Dont worry.

Wow, that was fast.

I did the DV stuff and got this.

Seems like USB related again, could be the xbox control receiver. Its the only stuff i have all time connected on sub apart from the mouse.

Yes, you need to update the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver Driver Service 21 driver, xusb21.sys; as the 2009 version of this driver is always problematic.
Code:
fffff880`07d08000 fffff880`07d1a100 xusb21 (deferred)

Update it from Software Downloads | Microsoft Hardware

Remove this entry from startup:

PROGRAM|COMMAND|USER_NAME|LOCATION
Kernel and Hardware Abstraction Layer | khalmnpr.exe | Public | HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
It is Logitech Bluetooth Mouse Hardware Abstraction Layer. As hidclass.sys is failing, dont keep it in startup. Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Also, update the logitech drivers like Logitech SetPoint KMDF HID Filter Driver
Code:
fffff880`07dc9000 fffff880`07ddc000 LHidFilt (deferred)

And Logitech SetPoint KMDF Mouse Filter Driver.

So, the logitech drivers are old, those may anytime cause a hidclass.sys BSOD. Get the updates of the logitech drivers from Logitech - Support & Software Downloads

Let us know the results when done.

Logitech drivers updated, also updated the microsoft controller.

Cant find drivers for the receiver, seems like microsoft stopped the support or something. I read about the error and seems it only occurs after you unplug (incorrectly?) the controller.

Thanks for the help!

Remove the hardware abstraction layer from startup, too.

Will not this one work for XBOX?

I guess that driver will update xusb21.sys, too.

Well done, and good news :) Your hard work seems to be working :)

Now give it a time, observe the situation, and let us know how it is working.

It appears that this install of windows is counterfeit, the product ID matches a Acer/Gateway/Packard while the SLIC table matches an Asus, as does the Motherboard which is an OEM motherboard, this is only possible through a hackers exploit, please purchase a legal copy of windows format and re-install using the legal copy of windows.
