Hi,

I'm new to this forums and this is my first post.
I upgraded my graphics card driver 2-3 days ago with no problems until today when
my laptop crashed couple of times when I was playing LeagueOfLegends, and again when playing a video (using VLC). When I disable my graphics card driver all is fine, but when I play a game with the graphics card enabled I get a blue screen.

Welcome to the forum.

I did not yet to analyze your dumps, before I do that please uninstall Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%. They use a file sptd.sys which is notorious for BSOD.

Do you use bit defender antivirus? Please uninstall and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

You have a bunch of programs at start up, keep the ones you actually need and disable the rest following method 3 from the tutorial below.
:ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1401-startup-programs-change.html

Post back once you've done these.

I will analyze your dumps once I'm home.

Thank you for your reply

I uninstalled Daemon Tools, and I'm currently using Norton Internet Security. The bitdefender driver is there from a previous installation.
I also removed some of the startup programs.
Waiting for your analysis.

I updated my windows too. For some reason, my windows fails the automatic update. I have to go to services and start the background intelligent transfer service manually then start updating. I tried setting the BITS to automatic start but it changes back to manual.

That's strange. I tried enabling the graphics driver again today and watched couple of videos before I got another blue screen (0x00000116).

The error code I get while updating is 80246008.

As for the sfc, I didn't get any errors.

I do have the k-lite codec pack installed.
and here is my screenshot

I'm keeping the display driver disabled, so no freezes/bsods.

See this link for the BSOD you are getting, often happens when the card is bad/faulty.
BSOD Index

Did you check what the temp of your graphic card is?
This utility will help you see that: GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility

Do you have another card to test with?
