Run DirectX Diagnostic Tool

DirectX Diagnostic Tool helps you troubleshoot issues with the DirectX suite of multimedia technologies that come with Windows. If you're having trouble getting game animation or a movie to run properly, you should run DirectX Diagnostic Tool to try to find the source of the problem.
To run DirectX Diagnostic Tool

  • Open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Start button
    4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_47.png
, typing dxdiag in the Search box, and then pressing ENTER.

Using DirectX Diagnostic Tool to diagnose problems

Here are some of the things you should be looking for:

  • Lack of hardware acceleration. Some programs run very slowly or not at all unless Microsoft DirectDraw or Direct3D hardware acceleration is available. Click the Display tab, and then under DirectX Features, check to see whether DirectDraw, Direct3D, or AGP Texture acceleration is marked Not Available. If so, you might consider upgrading your hardware. You might also need to turn on graphics acceleration.
    To turn on graphics acceleration
    1. Open Display Settings by clicking the Start button
      4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_47.png
, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Display Settings.
    2. Click Display Settings, and then click Advanced Settings.
    3. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change Settings.
      18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b_41.png
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    4. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.
  • Devices are not connected. If a joystick or other input device fails to respond, it may not be properly set up. Make sure the device is present on the Input tab of DirectX Diagnostic Tool. If not, reinstall the game controller or input device by unplugging it and then plugging it back in.
  • Unsigned drivers are present. Microsoft has not tested unsigned drivers for full compatibility with the latest version of DirectX. We recommend that you use drivers that are digitally signed by Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).

Reinstall graphic card drivers

o Download and install |MG| Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper) 1.2.0 Download
o Reboot the computer in Safe Mode from Advanced Boot Options
o Boot into your computer normally now. Go to AMD Support & Drivers/ Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers using option 2 auto detect Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and install the latest drivers for your graphic card.

Keep us posted

-Uninstalled Avira, DAemon Tools and McAfee Security
-Installed MSE and scanned: no issue detected

-Dxdiag doesn't show problems, DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture acceleration activated.

-But I can't move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full. The button "Change settings" inTroubleshoot Tab is not clickable.
-Devices are connected.
-Graphic driver is unsigned, it's the new beta version GeForce 306.02

So, I reinstalled the 301.42 WHQL, but I had it before (blue screens were here too)

I didn't understand the use of Driver Fusion, am I supposed to delete all the boxes detected in Nvidia (driver check) ?

Vous devez sélectionner tous les conducteurs qui pilote la fusion et de les supprimer. Si directe-x n'a pas trouvé de problèmes, nous ne pouvons le laisser pour l'instant.

chipset Radeon HD 3000 on my mother board ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3.

I didn't configured connexion, I supposed that the GeForce Gts 250 I have installed would be the only working.

Can I detect if there is a problem ?

I quote you: "Vous devez sélectionner tous les conducteurs qui pilote la fusion

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time. "
