Recently I received a message from the "Action Center" that there was an issue with the NDIS Protocol Driver. I downloaded a fix for this problem, but it told me that the fix didn't apply to my system. I also uninstalled this driver per one of the threads on this forum. About the same time, I started receiving blue screen error messages, and my computer would keep failing on restart due to a startup error. My instinct is telling me that there is something wrong with either the Netgear USB Adapter that I'm using or the driver that operates it. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit).

I'm a novice with technical issues, so I apologize if this explanation is unclear. I would appreciate any feedback/recommendations that you experts can provide. Thank you!

Hi, bagavan. I discovered that there is a newer version of the driver, so I will uninstall the current version and try that one. If I continue to have issues, I'll uninstall the newer version and try going without it. I'll give it a day or so before closing this thread. Thanks for reviewing this issue...I am in your debt!!!

Hi, bagavan. I updated the UPS software, but I continued to get the blue screen error. So, I uninstalled the software per your suggestion, and I got the error once again. Can you tell anything from these latest reports? Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
