BSOD random crash windows wont boot, 0x000000116 - PLEASE HELP!

I haven't gotten a blue screen in years, computer was custom built I would say 4 years ago probably and just use it for occasionally gaming, homework, work. I was reading some news articles and my computer gave me a BSOD. It happens so fast that I had to record a video with my phone and slow it down to read the details. Can't boot into anything I just get a blank screen and the blue screen approx every 90 seconds.

Details are as follows.

Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.

Stop: 0x000000116 (0x8627E008, 0x8BDC78F2, 0x000000000, 0x000000002 )

atiakmapg.sys - Address 8BDC78F2 base at 8BDC2000, datestamp 4cc78aeb.

Now I haven't installed anything no updates, no new programs, no nothing really. I can't even access anything other than my monitor being black for 90 seconds and then randomly getting a blue screen. Can someone please assist?

i'm sorry for the impatient response guys, but i'm working on a project at school that is due Wed i'm really in a bind here and very nervous...all of my information is on the computer and it probably needs another 20 hours of work to complete. Any assistance at all would be so greatly appreciated and welcomed...I've already tried unplugging everything and bought one of those compressed air tanks to push out all the dust that didn't help.

Welcome to the 7forums.

As this is a 0x116 as you speak, it is related to the graphics card.

Please try booting in safe mode.

How can I boot it in safemode? I'm unable to see anything on the screen until the blue screen pops up and than its as if the monitor is off again...

i try pressing F8 as soon as the computer boots up and nothing happens my monitor is literally pitch black...any recommendations? I am majorly stressing out.

EDIT: Press F8 when it says operating system is loading and it takes me to a screen that says

Loading Operating System....

A disk read error occured
Press CTRL ALT DELETE to restart...when I do that nothing happens...

Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

Please read the tutorials, you don't have to boot into Windows to run those tests.
