BSOD, random crashes whilst playing LOTRO and black screen

Okies I will do :) It won't take me long to test as there is a specific game that does cause the black screens every time I played the game on my old monitor, so I'll run a test on Friday and update sometime then about how it went!! Wish I knew about these forums sooner as I'd have got my problems sorted out sooner, you guys have been great and I really appreciate the time that you take to help people out with computer problems, this site is a Gods send!

Heya, final update hopefully!!! Have had my HDMI monitor delivered this morning and have finally got round to being able to test it. The first thing I noticed is that it's no longer randomly flashes up no video signal when it takes a while for a game to shut down which is good news. Have played the game that was causing me the problem with the black screen on shut down and it no longer powers down my monitor. So hopefully, fingers crossed, it's all fixed. Oh and I still haven't had a BSOD since I removed Easy Saver! Thank you again for the wonderful help in sorting my computer out!

I'll pop onto these forums from time to time to have a look at the topics and such and if there is any help that I can offer I will do so :) I think we can safely say that my issue has been resolved and my computer is now back up and stable! I'm so grateful for all your help!!!

This is the news we like to hear! Wonderful! I am glad the new monitor has resolved the issue and that uninstalling Easy Saver solved the BSOS's. Really good detective work on your part. Thank you for posting back with the solutions and you are certainly welcome for the help. :) I will ask the moderators to mark this thread as solved. Happy computing!
