Not sure why but this BSOD has occurred twice in one day and I have never seen it happen before.

I have attached the ZIP folder as required from the forum instructions.

In my event viewer I receive the following:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000116 (0xfffffa800f0d3310, 0xfffff88005c0aebc, 0xffffffffc0000001, 0x0000000000000003). A dump was saved in: C:\windows\Minidump\111814-11840-01.dmp. Report Id: 111814-11840-01.

I tried to google it and nothing really helps me identify my problem specifically.

If anyone can help me out that would be much appreciated.

Dan

Hi austzorro.

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator - The most trusted PSU Wattage Calculator
Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us.

Let us know the results.

Hi Arc.

I may have solved this.

One thing I noticed was my monitor ended up going blank on me on some restarts. So I moved the HDMI from the AMD Radeon GFX card into the mainboard Intel HMDI port.

I noticed that there was a driver error concerning ATI/AMD driver. After a restart it never appeared again. I never got a BSOD it just froze randomly.

Anyways. I uninstalled all the Catalyst/AMD software for my GFX card and cleaned the registry out and then reinstalled the latest drivers/software. I had previously overclocked the machine and set fan speeds higher, but I never had such freezes or BSOD issues for months.

So after this new install and factory defaults for GFX settings - I havent seen any freezes/BSOD errors. Touch wood.

Thanks.

Well, very good news. Still monitor the temps. That might be necessary at any time.
