Hello

I'm working on my friends new computer that keeps BSODing just after installing W7 Ultimate x64. The BSOD sometimes come after 2minutes after entering Windows, sometimes after an hour, but always faster if you trying to actually do something (like download windows updates etc.)
I have already tried with change hard drives between Samsung 840 SSD and Hitachi HDD. Also tried different DDRs and graphics card.. I can't understand where these BSODs are coming from. The motherboard is also brand new, because we already changed it from the shop according to the same problems with previous one.

I ran the SF Diagnostics tool and the logs are found as attachment.

Thanks in advance

It appears that this install of windows is counterfeit, the product ID matches a Lenovo stolen key, while the motherboard is a retail ASrock motherboard. this is only possible through an activation exploit. Please purchase a legal copy of windows, format and then re-install using the new legal copy of windows.

Ohh.. I'm very sorry for that. I also have legal copy but it is only Finnish languange Home Premium and it does all the same with that one. Anyways I'll format and reinstall it with the legal one tomorrow. I'll run the SF Diagnostics again post the new results here.

Okay here I am again. I did now install the legal one and theres what happened; I installed all the updates etc. watched few youtube videos without any problems but then I just wanted to be sure before giving the computer back to my friend and I runned Intel Burn test with 'Normal' setting.

It did BSOD in about 20 seconds and does that every time with the test or little over normal working load now.
Theres the new SF diagnostics files + picture of the BSOD I took aswell.

Hope you can help guys :/

From the sounds of things, and from the looks of the files you have provided there is some form of hardware failure going on, it could be one of a few things:

firstly please stress test your CPU using the following:

Free Software - GIMPS

Code:
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight you may want to run the "Large FFTs" test instead.
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.

also during the test be sure to keep an eye on the CPU temperatures if they exceed 80c then you have an over heating problem, if not then it is likely a failure in the CPU its self, or a failure of the PSU I note that the PC has a xenon processor and if my memory serves me they require a fairly high end and reliable power supply to support them.

The PSU we are using is XFX Core Edition 450W which is pretty reliable power supply I think, so maeby the problem is in the CPU :S We actually built two identical PCs (one for friend and one for his work) and the another one is working fine.

I have to check the temperatures and run Prime when I get home but the idle BIOS temperature has been like 35C normally, but we'll see what Prime does to it..

sounds like the CPU has gone bad then, that or the mother board or PSU has gone bad, really the only way to test which part it is is to swap them out.
