Hello guys,
I have been getting BSOD where the PC locks up and will require a hard reboot.
I am attaching all the dmp files from the day it started.

I have windows 7pro 64bit

yesterday I went through the other posts on here to find a solution and ran a memtest and HDD test and they both passed.

would it be the memory? I don't mind replacing all the memory...but replacing the OS HDD would be a pain as the number of software installs is too many and they take too long. It would be at least a 3 day job not to mention down time.

My case is dust free and it is cleaned weekly. so i dust on contacts would not be it.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello socalarch.

First of all, Let us see a Speccy Snapshot.
Download and install Speccy. Run it. Then File > Save Snapshot. Save it on your desktop, zip it and upload it.

And let us know if you are overclocking or not.

ok here's the speccy file as you requested.
I do not OverClock . I have never seen the memory max out even when running Autodesk Revit photoshop and 3DS MAX at the same time. the system has crashed during web browsing...maybe once while I was working in Autodesk Revit.

BSOD does not happen often...could my mouse and keyboard (wireless) cause some sort of mem leak? i changed them right around the time this started happening. the wireless USB receiver was plugged into the front, just now I switched it to the back so it is directly connected to the MB (if it makes a difference...just trying random things)

Thanks so much for the quick response.

Allover the time, you got the stop 0x124 BSODs ... which is a hardware error.

Checked two things in the Speccy snap. One (temps) is satisfactory, but the other is not that much ... your BIOS is old (of 2009) and Asus has no updates for it.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.

Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Stress test the Graphics Card (NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800) using Furmark.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Let us know about the wattage of the PSU, too.

so...I Ran a 12 pass ram test no errors (22 hours)
the graphics card ran a full screen 15 minute test and it gave it a score of 480
the CPU ran it for 1:45 minutes and found no errors.
the Power recommended was 390 and there is 600 installed.
I have also tested the HDD for the OS and it found no error.
the PC build date was early 2009 and it ran for 3 years without any issues. and in 2012 it started the bluescreen crash once a month. the only time it happened twice in the same month was this month. this does not make sense to me.

Hey Arc Thanks for looking into this man.
I did some research on the web and found one other possible cause. Fluctuation of power coming to the HDD
so I'm going to grab a dedicated power just for the OS HDD so it is not sitting on the same rail as the other 2 HDD's
I might have a few free connections haven't looked in the case yet.
