Recently my computer just randomly gets a black screen then after about 30s it automatically restarts. When it finishes restarting, I see a windows error message which says that my computer has experienced a BSOD. I don't know if it is actually a BSOD, since I don't get a blue screen, it just restarts my computer after a black screen.

This started happening when I started using my computer more. Since I'm on holiday, I've been gaming a lot more than I used to.
Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks.

Uninstall the current NVidia drivers, reboot and then reinstall the latest driver by following this tutorial:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/327414-nvidia-drivers-avoid-problems.html

Ensure that your card is getting adequate cooling and that it is free of sut and dirt.

Thanks for the response. Right after I posted the thread I reinstalled Nvidia drivers following the post on this forum but I am still having BSODs.

As for temperatures, I checked them and the highest it reached was 52 degrees while gaming. Also weird thing is, is that the BSODs happen right after I turn on my computer and log into windows in the mornings. So I'm assuming it can't be temperatures since it just got turned on.

In terms of the sut and dirt, can that cause the BSODs? Even if the temperatures are quite low?
