Hi,

I have a Toshiba Qosmio F60 notebook that recently started with the following BSoD:

0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

It happens completely random and I have tried the Hotifx and instructions from Microsoft's KB article 977067.

We have not made any recent driver updates or hardware changes.

Machine specs are as follows:
Machine is approximately 12 months old.
System is installed with the original OEM installation.
Windows 7 Pro x64
6.00 GB RAM
Intel Q740 i7 1.73 GHz
750 GB HDD

First your only relevant crash is the most recent and we cant draw any conclusions from just one. One thing of note is that your uptime (the time since your last boot) is at least 8 straight days, and rises to almost 18 days.

You can alleviate many of this type of driver issue by rebooting at least every second day.

We are going to have to wait for the next one and hope it is not in the distant future so we have something to compare this one to.

It is a driver power state failure and the evidence points to something related to USB.

Hi zigzag3143,

Thanks for the prompt response.
I will reboot more regularly and get back to you guys as soon as another BsOD appears.

The only thing we really connect/ disconnect regularly, is a Brother color printer.
I will go and check for more recent drivers etc, just for good measure.

Thanks again.

Hi zigzag3143,

We came across another BSoD this morning.
These BSoD's usually occur when the notebook is connected in the morning at the office.

Attached is the latest reports gathered after the latest BSoD.

Related to dlkmd.sys Core Software v4.5.12459.0 from DisplayLink Corp. I would re-install the newest driver available.
