Hi, since last month my computer started to crash in different situations. Sometimes it crashes while playing games (Assassins Creed Unity, GTA V, and today, The Witcher 3:cry:), in this case occurs both bsod or game force closes, sometimes it crashes while i browse in Google Chrome (again, bsod and chrome Aw, snap!), and even in idle it crashes (i found out because i left on steam and when i came back it had reseted).

My PC:

Mobo Gigabyte 990-xa-ud3
FX 8150
ZOTAC GTX970
2X4GB AMD PERFOMANCE EDITION DDR3 1600 MHZ
KINGSTOM SSD
SEAGATE HDD
OCZ FATAL1TY 750 W

The last hardware change i did was the gtx 970 three months ago, but it was ok for more than a month. I can't remember any obvious reason for the problems start. I did a clean install of windows but the problem persisted. I checked all my drivers and updated my mobo bios.

Anyway, here are the dumps, i hope someone can help me!

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my english!

Please Run Memtest86+

   Information
Please download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zip

Extract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes in the same session or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes run in the same session to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask

memtest86+ is a better test and I would recommend using it from now on. The test you ran is showing errors, so we will just go with that. The proper way to proceed from here is to run one stick at a time in every slot, to make sure it is the ram or the Motherboard Dimm Slots. And yes, that is possible. I have had several boards with bad dim slots. If you run, for example one stick which passes 8 passes in 3 slots but fails in the other slot, it would be the Dimm slot. A bad stick of ram would error in any slot.

I don't know which brand of memory you are using, but if it is a major brand, almost all of them have lifetime warranties. I would suggest asking about an advanced RMA first though. They will replace the ram before you sending in the defective ram. They will usually ask for a Credit Card # first, to protect themselves in case you don't send in the defective sticks. If you send them in, you won't be charged. By doing that, you are not without a computer during the RMA process.
