Hi guys i really hope someone can help me with this i have been pulling my hair out for a while now and going in circles

this all started back in august ( yes way back ) i was getting the odd crash blue screen i thought it may have been a virus causing it so did all the usual scans but the crashes were still happening one every week or two then lately they started getting more frequent I searched around for a solution and reading on differant forums I thought i found the answer although it ment drastic action i backed up what files i needed to keep and did a factory restore on my laptop to factory settings thinking this would solve it ( wrong ) im not very techy still learning a bit at a time ....now i have managed to get into the dump files and its saying the cause of the crashes was ntoskrnl.exe +7fd00 but reading a little on the forum this may not be the cause i have uploaded the logs if someone could have a look for me and perhaps help in any way to solve this problem be very grateful .

my device is acer aspire 5749 notebook
windows 7 home premium 64 bit SP1
intel core i3-2330m
intel graphics 3000
6gb ddr3 memory
750gb HDD

While i was running the log collecter i had a few more blue screen crashes so im not sure if all the logs completed so i have 2 zip files i will upload both thanks in advance guys

Hi blueboy,

If you have secure boot enabled in the BIOS, please disable it.

Before Windows loads you can press 2 keys.
  • 1 gives the boot options,
  • 1 gives access to the BIOS,
The one that gives access to the BIOS is the one you need to press, I believe it is F2 for Acer laptops.

Yeah, that means one of the sticks are failing, replace the RAM immediately, but if you can run with one stick then run with one stick. Also yes stop the test, the RAM is failing.

Well, one of the RAM sticks are failing, you can't go with that option, it won't help.

I would keep testing until you know for sure if it is a stick or slot, so test each stick in each slot separated from the others.
