Hello,

I have been troubleshooting BSOD errors for the past couple of months and I could really use some help. I'm not certain, but I believe the errors started after I upgraded to Java 7. Uninstalling and reinstalling Java didn't help. I'd usually get a BSOD when using programs such as Photoshop and Sony Vegas or when watching HD youtube videos.

After reading this post:
http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html

I tried steps 1 - 6 and the errors still persist. I noticed they became less frequent after updating several drivers. The only thing that seems to trigger the BSOD now is editing videos in Sony Vegas.

Please let me know if there is any other information I should provide.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Thank you for your quick response. I'm so sorry for making such a late one. The past few days were unexpectedly busy for me.

I ran memtest86 until 7 passes were completed with no errors. I will run the other two tests later this evening.

The instructions for the CPU stress test say to stop it if the temperatures approach the maximum operating temperature. How do I figure out what my system's safe maximum temperature is?

Thank you for that link. The max temp is 105°C. My idle temp was 45°C, so I went ahead and ran the tests.
The IntelBurnTest passed on Standard and on High.

I ran the Furmark for 20 minutes. I don't think I saw any artifacts. It looked to be distorted the entire time.
